Dreaming of the ‘unknown’ can be very mysterious indeed!

If an unknown person appears in your dream, there is a very good chance that the traits this person expresses in your dream are traits within you that you may want to express in your daily life.
What qualities does this unknown person have? How can you apply them to yourself in your waking life?
This unknown person may also be highlighting the qualities that are within you, the ones that are yet to be unlocked or unleashed. They can represent aspects of the shadow side that are repressed. These dreams are important because repressed qualities and characteristics must always have an outlet to manifest themselves, and it is better they manifest under your control than outside of it.
Dreaming of an Unknown Place
Unknown places in our dreams also offer a strong past life connection. If you find you are moving from many unknown places in a dream it is probable that you are moving between your lifetimes in your dream state.
In some cases, you may find yourself in a place from a past lifetime with a person from this lifetime, and that is often an indication that this unknown person and place is a soul connection that has traveled with you frequently.
An unknown place may also have a premonition aspect attached. It could represent somewhere you will visit in the future or somewhere of great significance to you at some point in your life.

Ultimately the interpretation of the unknown variable in your dream is specific to you, but it often does not actually represent something unknown; it is something that you have forgotten, and your subconscious is just retrieving that information for you, such as a memory from a past lifetime.
Dreaming about the unknown means we are tapping into a very deep part within our subconscious. It is the part that is able to connect to past, present, and future, areas that are kept hidden from our conscious, waking mind.
