The Sun has spent the last month in your relationship sector, encouraging you to get all your important connections on an equal playing field, and make sure everything is following the rules and playing fairly.
Now, however, those connections will be tested by more extreme circumstances as the Sun enters your 8th House of Shared Resources and Deep Bonding, which deals with all of life’s intensities. This includes your intimate connections, such as how you express yourself in intimate situations behind closed doors, but it also includes major financial matters and large sums, like taxes, inheritances, bonuses, and other unexpected windfalls.
This can be a very rewarding time if you want it to be, but you must first put in the effort and be ready to deal with these intensities head on if you want to see those rewards.
There is indeed a focus on retreating behind the scenes right now, as the Moon is also sliding along through your dreamy 12th House, so it would make perfect sense if you aren't all that concerned with the outer world and instead want to focus on interior matters.
However, the Moon is also forming a sextile to karmic Saturn in your grounded 2nd House of Earned Income at the moment, so even if you do want to keep yourself to yourself, or focus on more private matters, there are still opportunities for you to make material progress in the here and now.
That being said, you could find more success if you focus on wrapping up certain projects, rather than trying to start new ones, so don't bite off more than you can chew. One thing at a time!
