Your ruler Venus has been moving along through your 7th House of Relationships ever so slowly the last month, bringing affairs of the heart to your attention, but today that planet is turning retrograde for the next six weeks, during which time it will be almost impossible to get on the same page as the object of your affections, or find anyone new to fit that bill.
Venus will back up into Libra and your 6th House of Daily Work and Routine at the end of October, and will remain there until it turns direct in mid-November and begins forward motion once again. For now, however, do not put all your eggs of love in one basket, so to speak, and expect your relationships to feel rather like a game of bumper cars.
At the same time, today also features a very potent clash as warrior Mars locks into a rare opposition with nefarious Pluto, which normally only happens once every other year.
Mars is in your domestic and emotional 4th House, while Pluto is in your ambitious 10th House, so something on the career front could wind up pushing your buttons, or leave you feeling overwhelmed when you need to be on top of your game.
Make a point to take space for yourself where you can, and to monitor your own emotions, because it could be very easy to have a bit of a breakdown at the wrong time during this heavy transit. Be kind to yourself today, and to others, of course.
