Your Weekly Tarotscope for January 29th – February 4th, 2024

Transitioning between the energy of one month and the next isn’t always the most exciting bridge to cross.

Just like that, January 2024 is over in the blink of an eye. One month of the new year is over and tucked away. What happened to all of the time to start those new goals, set up those strong intentions, and take up all those new hobbies?

The good news is that the month isn’t quite over yet, and there’s still plenty of time to start the New Year strong. With a Last Quarter Moon in Scorpio on February 2nd, though, there’s no way around it — it’s time to reflect upon what cycles you’re closing out and where there is space for new ones.

At this crucial checkpoint, we’ve checked in with the Tarot to find out what’s in store for you during this week.

Your Sign’s Weekly Tarotscope for January 29 – February 4, 2024

Aries

The Magician (Reversed)

Aries is hitting the breaks this week… whether you like it or not.

Usually, the bold and brave ram isn’t a fan of slowing down for no reason. But The Magician reversed assures you that it’s not for “no reason.” In fact, you’ve been needing a break for a while.

This card warns of the perils of burning out too quickly, pursuing too much all at once, and eventually hitting a creative wall.

Take a few deep breaths. Pause. And schedule some time to rest and rejuvenate this week, Aries.

Taurus

7 of Cups

Taurus may have come to their Tarotscope for wisdom and answers, but even the cards can’t make your life’s decisions for you.

The 7 of Cups indicates that either a decision has been weighing on your mind heavily lately, or you’re overall feeling intuitively scattered and emotionally strained… or both.

The key with this card is to know that… life doesn’t always have a “right answer.” You can stress yourself out over the “correct” choice until the end of time, but life won’t be waiting for you on the other side.

In other words, sometimes getting a move on and getting it “wrong” is plenty better than waiting for an answer that may never arrive.

Gemini

The Sun (Reversed)

Gemini, it can’t always be sunshine and rainbows, of course.

The Sun reversed dampens the good vibes that you may have been trying to cultivate, casting some shadow on your sense of self and identity.

Confidence will be harder to come by this week, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth picking yourself up off the ground and trying your best anyway.

You may be feeling disconnected from yourself more than usual, but this, too, shall pass.

Cancer

8 of Cups (Reversed)

Cancer, it’s important, even if it’s not easy, to move in the direction that your heart is truly calling for.

The 8 of Cups reversed hints that Cancers may be struggling with moving forward (emotionally, in particular).

Your heart is aching for something new, but you’re having a hard time just moving on from the past (or perhaps even some present relationships and commitments that have been holding you down).

The right thing isn’t always easy.

Leo

The High Priestess

The intuition calls for Leo. Ready to pick up?

With The High Priestess at your side, it’s time to center yourself in your spirituality and intuition.

Right now, the answers and the plans forward should be rooted in what you know deep within yourself — not necessarily the logical answers or the stuff that looks good on paper.

Basically, your intuitive capabilities are heightened right now, but you still have to be willing to listen to those instincts.

Virgo

3 of Wands

Virgo, this is your sign that you’re on the right path.

You tend to set yourself up well for success, but Virgos also tend to fixate on what could potentially go wrong first (which also happens to make you excellent and very thorough planners).

Rest assured, with the 3 of Wands on the table, you just need to have patience and confidence in what you already have been doing.

Stay the course for now, and trust in your intentions and will.

Libra

Wheel of Fortune (Reversed)

Libra is struggling to keep the faith, and we can’t exactly blame you.

The Wheel of Fortune reversed confirms that life hasn’t been going your way lately. This week will likely still contain series after series of unfortunate mishaps and errors, seemingly for no reason.

It’s hard to find the lesson or reasoning in all of the chaos sometimes, but at the end of the day, sometimes it really is a gift for “future you” to unravel later.

For now, take care of yourself, be patient and forgiving with yourself, and trust the process as much as you can, Libra.

Scorpio

8 of Wands (Reversed)

Scorpio, let’s take the foot off the gas for now.

The 8 of Wands reversed warns that this week may be full of mismatched pacing and communication.

Sometimes, you may feel tempted to speak up loudly and proudly (and impulsively). Other times, it may feel like everything is moving too slowly (or not at all) to want to contribute anything at all.

The key to success for this week is taking deep breaths, pausing, and re-evaluating before making impulse decisions. Let the world catch up to you before you start running.

Sagittarius

Judgement

This week, Sagittarius has the power of Judgement on their side, which is no feat to scoff at.

You are positioned well right now for strong decision-making, communication, and leadership positions. However, that doesn’t mean you have to go out of your way to take what isn’t yours.

This card is also about knowing how you fit into the larger collective puzzle, being conscious of your impact, and caring about how others lean on you.

In other words, wield the power, Sagittarius, but do so wisely and compassionately.

Capricorn

King of Swords

Capricorn’s clarity of thought and communication can be quite an asset this week.

Capricorn tends to be more of a “puppet master” behind the strings rather than a charismatic performer front and center, but you’ll need to be willing to speak up this week when necessary.

The King of Swords illuminates your ideas, plans, and intellectual capabilities. You have a lot to say, a lot to contribute, and many ideas about how to make things flow smoothly from here on out.

Aquarius

6 of Pentacles

Aquarius, this week can be beneficial for everyone if you plan this just right.

The 6 of Pentacles sheds a spotlight on your resources and how you are distributing them to others. Although you may be called to generosity with your time and energy, you must be careful with what you give and to whom.

At the end of the day, you are just one person, and you don’t have infinite resources to offer.

This week is about asking yourself: “What do I need to give myself to be able to properly give to others?”

Pisces

The Tower (Reversed)

Pisces has been playing very defensively lately, just trying to get their ducks in a row.

The Tower reversed acknowledges the chaos you’ve been circumventing quite sympathetically but also reminds you that there is a difference between avoiding disaster and ignoring essential change.

There may be room in your life for a little cleansing and purging of the old, which isn’t always pretty but can be extremely necessary.

Refresh, Recalibrate, & Restart

Now that you’ve finished catching up with the Tarot, take a few deep breaths. Relax. How does it feel to know what insight and guidance the age-old craft had to share with you?

Do you feel at ease, or maybe more anxious to get started? Do you feel unprepared, or maybe like your whole life has prepared you for this moment?

Checking in with yourself like this throughout the week can be a guiding and grounding light. The wisdom of the Tarot can help illuminate the path forward, but you need to be ready to ground yourself enough to steadily walk upon it.
