Your Weekly Tarotoscope for April 10 – 16, 2023

Welcome back to another week of astrological events and, you guessed it, magical insight from the Tarot!

This week, Venus, the planet of love and beauty, will head into the buzzing, witty sign of Gemini on the 11th. This thoughtful but fun-loving energy has the potential to bring us some lighthearted fun in our relationships (including the most important one: our relationship with ourselves!).

Additionally, we’ll experience the Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn on the 13th, allowing us to let go of old restrictions and plans that didn’t serve us and wrap up more essential tasks.

As always, this information is all fine and dandy to have, but it’s best served with a dose of Tarot on the side! Let’s see what the cards have to say for you on a more personal level.

Your Weekly Tarotscope for April 10 – 16, 2023

Aries

Temperance

Aries is usually known for speeding up the pace, but this week holds space for a more gentle approach.

Temperance highlights your ability this week to alchemize areas of yourself and your life that seem separate but can be brought together with some intention and time.

Think: mind and body, career and love, or even the arts and technology. Whatever has been needing some “meeting in the middle” is the focus for this week.

With a gentle, patient approach, this week can be a productive one for Aries.

Taurus

9 of Wands

Taurus is watching and waiting from a distance, unsure of what move is best.

While the steady bull is known for their patience, the 9 of Wands is not as relaxed as you may usually like.

This “watching and waiting” takes up much energy as you assess your surroundings, try not to take up too much attention, and evaluate your next moves.

This can take up more time and energy than you anticipate, so remember to stay well-rested… and don’t underestimate the energy it takes to lie in wait.

Gemini

7 of Cups (Reversed)

Gemini doesn’t want to deal with the indecision this week.

The 7 of Cups reversed shows you trying to shake off the difficulty of “having too many options.” You’ve been sitting and contemplating for far too long, and now you’re ready to make any leap.

Geminis may recognize that sometimes, taking extra time to contemplate their options quickly just turns into overthinking.

Sometimes the real intuitive move is just to start moving and allow your body to take you to where it wants to go.

Cancer

4 of Cups (Reversed)

Cancer has been a little stagnant lately and is trying to make a change.

The 4 of Cups reversed demonstrates this effort and the concern simultaneously. On the one hand, it feels like you’ve been stuck in a stagnant pool of emotions, not fully sure how you even feel.

On the other hand, you know that sitting around and thinking about it probably won’t get you very far.

This week is about taking the first steps to seeking newness and inspiration.

Leo

Ace of Swords

Leo has a firm aim and the bright attitude necessary to take matters into their own hands!

The Ace of Swords cuts through the clouds, offering a clean slate, especially in communication, thinking, planning, and problem-solving.

What has previously felt cloudy and discombobulated now feels more in reach, like you’re actually able to interact with the situations in front of you. Speak your mind, and don’t be afraid to put yourself out there this week.

Fortune favors the bold right now, at least for our Lion friends!

Virgo

Queen of Wands (Reversed)

Feeling a little low on confidence, Virgo?

With the Queen of Wands reversed, your inner spark, confidence, and leadership charisma seem to be running low.

While Virgos tend to be capable of working even if they’re running on empty, it may feel difficult to get yourself motivated in a more authentic light. Basically, you can do it, but it won’t feel good!

Don’t overdo it just because you can. The remedy to this sticky spot is some “me time” where you refill on self-care and remind yourself of who you really are (and what you’re capable of).

Libra

The Hermit (Reversed)

Libra may feel particularly lonely this week, and it’s not exactly intentional.

Despite their sociable reputation, sometimes Libras need some contemplative time alone in order to get their thoughts in order. The Hermit is one way of depicting that.

Reversed, however, it’s likely that you didn’t intentionally carve out this time — instead, it just feels like you’re alone in your thoughts, and it’s not all that productive.

While these periods tend to fade with time, don’t be afraid to ask for help, Libra. You’re not the only shoulder in the world to lean on — others are capable of offering theirs too.

Scorpio

Knight of Pentacles (Reversed)

Scorpio wants to move forward with productive vibes, but the slowness is getting on your nerves.

The Knight of Pentacles reversed points to frustrations with feeling like your tasks and pace have been repetitive, slow, and unyielding.

Work, career, and finances especially feel stagnant and cyclical, and sometimes it feels uncertain whether or not you’re really making progress or you’re just a hamster running on a wheel.

While it’s important to validate your feelings, the mundanity of life is sometimes part of the package deal. Just because a task feels unexciting doesn’t mean it’s the wrong one.

Sagittarius

7 of Pentacles

Sagittarius is repeating the same cycle as last week, with the 7 of Pentacles still on the table for you (in the same position).

This means you’re continuing the reflective yet productive planning streak that you started recently.

Remember that this is not about fully jumping into action yet, but just getting your ducks in a row. While this may feel a little annoying for our typically wild and adventurous Sagittarius, you can likely intuitively sense that it’s important to be thorough with these plans of action.

Your future self will thank you for the work you’ve completed here!

Capricorn

10 of Wands (Reversed)

Capricorn, it’s time to take a little chill pill and release some of your worries.

The 10 of Wands reversed indicates that you’ve been carrying too much again, and the items on your “to-do” list are so long and unending that you’d need all the time in the world to actually get all of it done.

Your expectations of yourself may be too high, and it’s not because you’re not great or productive! It’s just that sometimes, there’s only so much that one person can do.

Let go of the reins here a bit, and be kind to yourself regarding personal expectations!

Aquarius

9 of Pentacles (Reversed)

Feeling a bit lackluster lately, Aquarius?

With the 9 of Pentacles reversed, you may especially feel lacking when it comes to being rewarded in your career, finances, and home. Life just hasn’t been panning out the way you’ve wanted it to in these areas.

The real problem is that you deserve to be compensated for all of your hard work, but sometimes you have to be the person to give that reward to yourself.

You’re due for a little treat and “me time,” It may be time to pencil it into your own schedule to get your fill. Treat yourself, Aquarius!

Pisces

The Magician

Pisces is on a roll with the creative, initiatory energy lately!

The Magician continues the streak with its magical flair, passionate spark, and obvious capabilities. It’s time to get busy and creative… and go after the passions that you hold dear to your heart.

The key to fully utilizing this card is remembering that it’s okay, and even encouraged, to use more than one skill or idea.

You can combine the best of both worlds right now — what do you want to bring together?

Unlocking the Magic of the Tarot’s Insight

You may notice that you now have the best of both worlds: a briefing on the week’s astro-news and the insight of the Tarot to back you up.

However, like astrology, the Tarot is best experienced with a little… user participation. It’s one thing to understand the vague outlines of the stars and cards, and it’s another to really use the information to your advantage.

It’s kind of like the difference between reading a treasure map once versus understanding how to decode all treasure maps for future use. One of those options will set you up for the long haul!

How do you use the Tarot to the fullest? Whether it’s journaling out your intentions with the cards of the week in mind or checking in with your own Tarot deck periodically to refresh the vibe of the week, it may differ from person to person.

But one thing’s for sure — it’s in your favor to figure out what your Tarot exercise for the week should be, big or small!
