Everyone has a dream job, but few of us actually have that dream job. Most of the reasons we give ourselves for not pursuing our dream job are just excuses, usually based in fear.

The Spreads
Make sure you have a book that offers a good explanation of each card in your Tarot deck. We have a guide you can check out as well. If you’re already familiar with the card meanings, then you’re ready to use them to manifest your dream job. The first spread I like to use is a 3-Card Question Spread. Ask what you need to know about your dream to get a general idea of where you’re at with it. The first card will represent the past, the second will be the present, and the third will be the current projection of the future (remember, this is not set in stone and only represents where your energy is pointing). Look up the meaning of each card and you’ll see how surprisingly accurate they are in relation to you and your dream job on this linear timeline.
The next spread I like to use when manifesting my dream job (no big deal) is the Decision Spread. It’s another 3 card spread that can help you decide which steps to take. It’s not that one outcome is amazing and the other is horrible, it just means that each choice leads to different emotional experiences or learning opportunities. The cards will reveal what those directions represent by tapping into your own intuition.
For example, if you’re not sure if you should publish a book or record an album, see what the cards reveal. They might suggest that both offer promising outcomes. You can even ask the cards using the first spread what doing them both would be like. Then you get to use free will to make your choice.
The third spread that can be helpful in manifesting your dream job is asking the one question many people never ask, and there are 2 ways to phrase it.
- First, ask “what is holding me back?”
- Second, “what should I focus on to move forward?”
For both of these questions, you could do either a one-card draw or the original 3 card question spread.
Don’t rush. This is as valuable as seeing an expensive life coach or healer. You have all of this intuition available to you through the use of this tool that helps you connect to your soul. The greatest source of useful information comes from within you, not from outside of you. You can tap into intuition and it will reveal truths to you as you practice.
How To Take Action Based Your Cards
The cards can help you see if you’re spreading yourself too thin, if you need to tap deeper into your intuition, or if you need to take a little more time to enjoy life. Do not take every single meaning you read of the card literally, rather see what images come to mind to distill the cards’ meanings for you.
When it comes to taking action on your dream job, these cards can help you push past the patterns you’ve been stuck in and eliminate behaviors that aren’t working. Tarot can help you move past your perceived limits show you how to lean on spirit and your soul to power up and follow your passion.
If anyone tells you to sit back and do nothing, they aren’t giving you your full power. When you ask spirit for assistance (as specifically as possible), it can guide your heart, mind, and feelings to generate the energy, ideas, and vibration you need to align with the right opportunities. But you do have to ask for help, and you do have to put as much action and effort in as possible.
If you take action without asking for help and without seeking guidance from your soul, you’ll run into more difficulties and be less supported by the powerful energy of the spiritual guides that can aid you. The cards tap you into another dimension of consciousness where you can see above the smaller minds that most people let run their lives. With Tarot, all you need to do is reach out, speak up, and get moving!
Keep using the cards daily and use a journal to write down what your impressions are. Reading back over it later, you’ll start to understand the language of emotions and feelings that the cards speak. Remember, emotions are pure energy, and as we sculpt those emotions, we attract the things we truly desire. Spend more time in meditation with your cards connecting to your soul, and the layers of excuses, doubts, and distractions will dissolve.
