Your focus is shifting this week, Leo, as several planets initiate important changes. Come the 3rd, Uranus will wake up after spending the last few months retrograde in Taurus and your 10th House of Career. This transit may have witnessed some major changes on the work front, changes which you weren’t exactly thrilled by, but now that this rebellious planet is going to start surging ahead again, you can use these changes to your advantage. It won’t happen overnight, but you can start carving out a new place for yourself on the world stage in the months to come, so be ready to perform at a moment’s notice. VIPs and supervisors could appear from out of the blue to offer you helpful advice, and possibly even open a few new doors for you, so it couldn’t hurt to have your elevator pitch ready to go. It is important to note, however, that this is the last time this century Uranus will be turning direct in Taurus, as it will move on to Gemini later in the spring, not to return to the sign of the Bull for about eighty years.

Someone has got something to say to you on the 5th, but just how it will be received is another matter altogether. Messenger Mercury is in Aquarius and your 7th House of Partnerships, putting you in touch with the important people in your life. As terrific as this is, come Thursday, Mercury will form a tense square to Uranus in Taurus and your career sector. This alignment could leave you spinning your wheels on the professional ladder as you try to find words to voice what you want, or perhaps something wings its way to your inbox from out of the blue and you find yourself scrambling to meet the sudden demand. Regardless of whatever comes your way, you can expect to be on the receiving end of one surprise or another, but it will only last the day as it is a quick transit.

It is time to get serious about your finances on the 6th; for the last couple of weeks, you’ve dealt with Mercury traveling through your relationship sector; an important matter could have required some renegotiating or a partner could have turned out to be less than all they were cracked up to be. Now, however, your focus shifts as Mercury dives into Pisces and your intense 8th House of Financial Security and Other People’s Money. During this cycle, you’re going to encounter a lot of issues regarding what’s yours and what belongs to other people. At times this transit can be very difficult, but at others it can also bring you sudden windfalls, so keep your wits about you and there’s no reason you can’t emerge from this cycle in three weeks’ time with a healthier bank account than when you started. That being said, it is important to move slowly and methodically during this time, as Mercury will turn retrograde for three weeks at the end of the month, forcing you to reconfigure a few important structures in your life.
