Spiritual Neptune is ready to slam back into Aries on January 26th, 2026, and Neptune is going to be in-and-out of this Fire sign until 2039, which is 13 more years!
Neptune first danced in fiery Aries in 2025 (March 30th – October 22nd), so we got a little taste of what we could expect when Neptune officially, fully entered Aries last year.
Neptune moving to Aries is another piece of the huge paradigm shift that we’re experiencing, and it goes into full effect in 2026. These first four months are critical, starting with Neptune moving to Aries, then soon Saturn (February 13th), and Uranus will go to Gemini (April 25th).
With Pluto having moved to Aquarius starting in 2023, we will soon have ALL of the slow-movers in new zodiac signs. This is why we’re on the brink of massive change for the world!
With Neptune now going off into Aries, this shifts us spiritually, intuitively, subconsciously, and we go from the quiet and internal to the loud and external.
P.S. Don’t forget to use the free atrology calendar so you can keep track of Neptune!
About Neptune in Astrology
Neptune is one of the outer planets (along with Uranus and Pluto), and these planets are the slowest of the planets. Since they spend so long in one zodiac sign, they’re seen as the generational planets (because generations often have them in the same sign).
Neptune spends more than a decade in each sign, and Neptune is the planet of illusion, delusion, imagination, empathy, compassion, intuition, and spirituality.
In your natal chart, the house location of your natal Neptune can show areas where you struggle with reality, have strong intuition, have karmic baggage to work through, or where you may see things fade out. The sign of your Neptune can show how.
In transit, Neptune’s base energy is to dissolve. It’s foggy, taking away our grip on reality; it fades away barriers and obscures facts; and it kicks up karma.
This impacts all of us, largely in the sign Neptune is touring, and we can be more spiritual and intuitive with whatever that sign rules, while also dealing with more subconscious or karmic issues. We usually need to let something go collectively.
About Aries in Astrology
As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is the leader, associated with new beginnings, new ventures, and new paths. Aries is the pioneer, and can go down new roads no one else has before.
Aries is a Fire sign (along with Leo and Sagittarius), and the Fire signs are active, engaging, and positive. Aries is high energy, and wants to keep going no matter what.
Aries is also a Cardinal sign (along with Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn), and the Cardinal signs take the lead. Since Aries is also the very first sign, it’s the super leader, and has difficulty following instructions.
Aries wants to take action, to make things happen, and will take the initiative to do that. Aries doesn’t wait, so it can be impatient and impulsive and has to work on that.
Energetic Mars is the natural ruling planet for Aries, and which gives Aries extra energy, drive, and enthusiasm. Aries is easily excited, and ready for what’s new and fun.
Aries naturally connects with the 1st house, since Aries is the first sign. The 1st house rules new beginnings, ventures, and pursuits.
Aries also connects to your outer face, your external identity. Aries needs to know who it is well, needs to be comfortable with who it is, and needs to proudly show who it is.
Aries is also extremely independent, thanks to all of this energy, enthusiasm, and leadership ability. Don’t hold Aries back!
About Neptune in Aries
With Aries being our identity, Neptune in Aries can highlight issues around that, whether subconscious or karmic. If we haven’t been connected with our true selves and know who we really are, there can be more focus on figuring that out.
With Neptune being compassion and empathy and Aries being active, we may feel more motivated to take action to help other people. Instead of just thinking about it, we decide to do something about it.
We can be extra creative and inspired with Neptune in Aries, and instead of just letting it pass by, we can take action with it. We want to create something we can see, hear, and touch, so we might see some great works of art coming.
Neptune in Aries can signal a big shift in the way we see things, our perception of something, and this can be on an individual level, but it can also be collectively (and that is very likely to happen). This might not happen slowly either, since Aries is fast, and we’re suddenly thinking about something in a very different way.
Neptune has been touring the sign it naturally rules, Pisces, for some time, and this combo has obscured quite a bit. As Neptune shoves off into Aries, we’re likely to become aware of things that have been hidden to us, or that we just ignored and didn’t want to see.
We get to a point where we have no choice but to see it, and this can be a rude awakening. But it can also help us propel ourselves forward, because not seeing it before was holding us back in ways we didn’t realize.
Saturn is on the way to Aries as well, and Saturn and Neptune are going to conjunct (align) very quickly on February 20th, 2026. This is normally a big deal for worldwide events, but it’s even bigger this time because this happens at the Aries Point.
There are 30 degrees in every zodiac sign, 360 degrees total, and 0 degrees Aries is the very first degree of the entire zodiac. This is called the Aries Point, and it’s powerful, strong energy.
Recall that Aries is active, the leader, and takes the initiative. The 0 degrees Aries Point is that times a million, and we are thrust into action.
Neptune in Pisces has been quiet, and it’s been focused on the internal and intangible. This changes very fast, and we want to take the internal and bring it out, and take the intangible and make it real.
For you personally, find where 0 degrees Aries falls in your natal houses because whatever that house rules is likely where you’re going to be motivated to act. Also look for your houses that fall in Pisces (ruled by Neptune) and Capricorn (ruled by Saturn).
Also, look for any planets or bodies in your birth chart at 0 degrees of the Cardinal signs. That body will get activated in a big way by Saturn conjunct Neptune, and you’ll likely feel this huge shift in energy immediately.
Honestly, the most important time for Neptune in Aries is right away thanks to the conjunction to Saturn! Outside of that, Neptune will be sextile (beneficial aspect) both Uranus in Gemini (when Uranus enters Gemini), and Pluto in Aquarius (and this lasts for many years).
With the slow-moving planets all playing nice together (Uranus in Gemini will trine Pluto, another beneficial aspect), this sets us up to build on the major change and create something great for ourselves and for the world.

Aries

There can be important realizations made, especially early in this transit. You can learn a great deal about something that has been obscured for too long, and this makes room for you to take action.
Your spirituality and intuition can be greatly heightened. You can explore your spiritual self, pursue spiritual ventures, and strengthen your connection to your intuition, which can lead to killer instincts.

The Neptunian fog can be something to keep in mind (especially during any Neptune retrograde period), so make sure to ground yourself. Don’t get lost in the foggy energy, and keep a grip on reality.
Neptune in Pisces was unfolding slowly for you subconsciously and spiritually, and you’ve quietly worked to gain insights and release baggage. There might be a big release of something just as Neptune is moving to Aries, so be alert for that.
Those of you who are early Rams (March 23 birthdays and earlier) are being hit head-on by the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, so you can feel all of this happening right away (right now!). Make sure you’re taking care of yourself through it all.

Taurus
Neptune in Aries puts Neptune in a quiet area for you, Taurus, and it’s the area that Neptune naturally connects to. This means you can be a lot more spiritual, but quietly, on your own, and without interference.
Your intuition can strengthen quite a bit, and you can benefit from this connection. By trusting your inner guide, you grow to trust yourself more and more, and this can serve you well.
You can be more reflective and introspective, wanting to take time to understand the past, yourself, and your karma. This is amplified with Saturn in Aries as well, and you may have lessons to learn through this reflection and introspection.
This means you’re entering a period of great potential for healing, personal growth, and letting go. You can undergo a massive release, especially over the next 2 years, and this can be important but may not be that obvious externally.
Yet, it can free you up in a lot of ways, it just might be more internal and something you feel within yourself. That can prepare you for some of the astrology to come way down the line.
It can also help you get out of your own way, and work on issues that have led you to be self-sabotaging. You can understand them, let them go, and who you are can change.
There is a lot that can fade out of your life over the next decade, and this isn’t traumatic, especially since it can be subtle and take some time. But you may also take the initiative with this, and quietly move things out that don’t serve a positive purpose anymore.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Taurus:
- Heightened spirituality
- Stronger intuition
- More reflective and introspective
- Healing and growing personally
- Releasing what no longer serves you
- Understanding the past
Gemini
Neptune in Aries focuses on your hopes and dreams for the future, Gemini, and you can focus on the dreams you feel spiritually connected to, and that inspire you to take action quickly. There can be fast progress early in this transit.
Since Saturn is also coming to Aries, you need to make sure you’re going about this the right way, and for the right reasons, and that you’re really passionate about it. This is what you can make great strides with right away.
If you’re not truly connected to your future, you may see your dreams fade away, and new dreams can take their place, especially once Uranus is in your sign. The track your life is taking can shift quite a bit.
You can make new friends and meet new people who are highly creative, artistic, spiritual, or helpers in some way. You might join groups or take up causes focused on helping others, and you can take the lead in those groups.
You can embrace what makes you different with Neptune in Aries, and this can make you more confident and secure. Old issues with your eccentricities can fade away, and you step fully into who you are.
This can be an amazing period for manifestation, and you may find that you’re able to shape the world you want much more easily. Hone in on your manifestation skills, and be wowed by what you can do.

- Realizing a dream you’re spiritually connected to and have worked at the right way and for the right reasons
- Embarking on a new future path
- Meeting creative, helpful people
- Taking up causes to help others
- Become a manifesting powerhouse
Cancer
Neptune in Aries comes to the highest part of your chart, Cancer, which means it’s impacting your goals, direction, and what you hope to achieve in your life.
This means you may set new goals for yourself that are Neptune-ruled, so they might focus on the arts or creativity, spirituality, medicine, or helping others in some way. You may also go about pursuing your goals in a Neptunian way, so you’re relying on your intuition to guide you, and may get help.
Your public image can be more charismatic, and you can attract people in high places thanks to this. The public eye can find you without you realizing it, and you may get attention in ways you didn’t originally set out to.
For some, Neptune might obscure your ability to see your goals and direction, and this can make it difficult to make progress. This is where relying on your intuition will help you navigate.
Saturn coming to Aries usually signals a fantastic period of your life for success, but you will need to work with Neptune to make sure that happens. If you’re grounded, responsible, and disciplined with Saturn, this helps with Neptune, so you can put creativity and intuition to good use.
Outside of your goals and direction, Neptune in Aries might target your responsibilities, and it may seem that one or more fade out of your life. Yet you may also become more responsible for a loved one, and can step into a caregiving role.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Cancer:
- Success with creative goals, or goals focused on helping others
- Hitting heights with your spirituality
- Trusting your intuition to guide you on your path in life
- Developing a charismatic public image
- Releasing a responsibility while taking up another
Leo
Neptune in Aries highlights your beliefs, Leo, and you can especially focus on your spiritual beliefs. You can become more active with what you believe thanks to Aries, but may be quieter about it thanks to Neptune.
Old beliefs that no longer serve you can dissolve, fade away, and you can focus on new beliefs that connect with your true self now, and that you feel a strong connection to spiritually.
You might become interested in learning about Neptune-ruled subjects, so you might want to explore spiritual subjects, medicine, the arts, or anything that helps others. Basic learning might be difficult if you find it too mundane, and you lose focus easily.
You may want to travel more with Neptune in Aries, and this can be to areas on the water, beachy locations, or islands. You can feel like wandering a lot, so you may go from one place to the next.
You may crave more space than usual, and can slowly work to get it. More space lets you feel more connected to your beliefs as well.

- Travel to water
- Getting more space
Virgo
With Neptune in Aries, you can become more passionate and intense about your spiritual beliefs, Virgo. You can take them seriously, and may even transform spiritually in some way.
The things that fade from your life over the coming years might seem to “die” to you, and they’re no longer important for you as you move forward. Once you let go, you’re fully gone.
If you embark on anything mutually-beneficial, you can be a great helper during this time, but you may go a little too far. Make sure you have boundaries to protect yourself so you’re not doing too much and draining yourself dry.
At the same time, this can be great for charity work, giving things away, and building your legacy. You can prioritize what will help others, even long after you’re gone.
Intimacy can become more spiritually-centered, and you may forge stronger emotional bonds with those you feel a spiritual connection to.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Virgo:
- More passionate about spiritual beliefs
- Fully letting go
- Being a great helper
- Focusing on your legacy
- Having stronger emotional and spiritual bonds
Libra
Neptune in Aries highlights your relationships and connections, Libra, so you may attract more Neptune-like people to you. More artists, healers, spiritual gurus, and charismatic types can gravitate to you.
You can take a Neptune-like approach to your connections, and prioritize having solid spiritual bonds. If you have that, and the connection is healthy, you can feel even more committed.
If you don’t have that, or it’s not healthy, you may see the relationship fade away over time. This isn’t traumatic, and it just seems to go away eventually, and you don’t think too much of it.
For some, you may not see others in a realistic way, and tend to view them with rose-colored glasses. You want to see the best in everyone, and that’s not wrong, but it can be unrealistic and get you in trouble.
Make sure you’re respecting boundaries, both other people’s and your own. You may be tempted to do too much to help other people, and this just creates more problems.
You may struggle with commitment at times, and need to give yourself some space with them. You can be good at keeping the peace, but may need to work on being better balanced.
Potential Impact with Neptune in Aries for Libra:
- Attracting Neptune-like people to you
- Doing more to help others
- Prioritizing spiritual bonds
- Needing to see people and relationships clearly

Scorpio
Neptune in Aries focuses on your daily life, Scorpio, and you can focus on work that is ruled by Neptune. This can be anything artistic or creative, in medicine, that helps others, or in spirituality.
If this is the type of work you already do, you may become even more inspired, and want to dedicate yourself to it more. Even with that though, you may also want some more space to do it your own way.
If this isn’t the type of work you do, you can pursue this kind of work, or you may feel that your connection to your work dissolves and you no longer want to do it. This might happen quickly.
In your everyday life, you may want to feel you have the time and space to tend to your spiritual needs, and this helps you to ground yourself. If you can’t do that, you might miss the important details often.
This transit can also impact your health, and you may have difficulty pinpointing any health issues or the cause of them. Try to be careful with what you consume, any drugs or medicine, since you might be more sensitive to them.
Taking care of the little things, in your life, work, and with your physical body, can go a long way, so stay on top of them.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Scorpio:
- Pursuing Neptune-ruled work
- Leaving work you don’t connect with spiritually
- Making time for your spiritual needs
- More physical sensitivities
- Needing to take care of the little things
Sagittarius
Who and what you love can be impacted by Neptune in Aries, Sagittarius, and you can focus on what connects with your heart as well as spiritually. Anything that has both of those connections can become a lot more important to you.
In love, you may gravitate to those you feel a spiritual bond with. This can help you be more committed, and you can be a lot more generous, empathetic, and understanding.
Those you don’t have this connection with, you may see those relationships fade from your life. This can happen over time on its own when you’re not paying attention, and it doesn’t make you all that sad in the end as it feels like it’s run its course.
With creativity, you can get inspired easily, and can channel this into any work or the mundane so you stay focused. If you can’t, you may lose your train of thought easily and all of the time.
You can also get more attention during this transit, maybe even a little fame, though Saturn in Aries might try to keep the lid on that until you’ve done the work and show you can handle it.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Sagittarius:
- Prioritizing spiritual bonds in love
- Letting relationships fade that don’t have a spiritual connection
- Inspired and creative
- Getting attention or fame
Capricorn
Neptune in Aries targets your home and family life, Capricorn, and you can see changes being made to your living situation or home environment. You can move to somewhere else, no longer feeling connected to where you are, or slowly make changes to your living space.
Do watch out for water issues (ruled by Neptune, have that flood insurance!). You may want to stay or live by the water, or in water-y locations, or have water features in your home.
One or more of those who you think of as family may fade from your life over the coming years, but this likely doesn’t feel upsetting. It can be the best for both of you to not be on top of each other anymore.
Neptune in Aries is at the bottom of your chart, so you may focus on your spiritual foundation and work on having a solid spiritual core. This can be important to you.
Opportunities for spiritual pursuits that have you working on the foundation or starting from the ground up can come to you without much work, and you can enjoy this.
You may dissolve an issue at your core that has been holding you back for some time, and this can happen quietly after a lot of reflection and introspection. It can free you up emotionally and make you feel more secure.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Capricorn:
- Changes at home and with your living space or environment
- Wanting to be around water
- Strengthening your spiritual foundation
- Pursuing spiritual ventures
- Releasing something at your core

You can also become more interested in creative topics, and can come up with lots of creative ideas and plans. You might have a hard time sticking to them though, so leave room to wander and get off track sometimes.
This can be an amazing transit for any kind of writing or creative/artistic expression. You can get inspired easily, and can channel this into what you create and showcase this to others.
You can also come up with ideas for helping other people, and you can easily voice support for loved ones. Your supportive words can go a long way to helping others with whatever they’re dealing with.
Learning might be a bit difficult for you, and you have a harder time focusing. You’ll need to give your mind plenty of time with anything mentally-taxing since your imagination can easily take over.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Aquarius:
- Learning spiritual subjects
- Focusing on creative ideas
- New ideas for helping others
- Being supportive with your words
- Needing more time to learn
Pisces
Neptune is your ruler, and it’s leaving your sign, Pisces, so this might feel like some of the pressure is being taken off of you, especially with Saturn ready to leave your sign as well. You can feel a little less Pisces and get a little better control with these two out of your sign.
By now, your intuition should be honed sharply, you should be super connected to your spiritual self, and you should have released a lot of baggage that was weighing you down. You should have made realizations, gained understanding, and let go.
With Neptune moving to Aries, this gives you a chance to ground yourself spiritually. You can slow down your spiritual focus to give yourself a chance to be more secure with your inner self.
Your spiritual values can also get more attention, and you want to make sure you’re aligned with them and they make sense for who you are now. You can work on stabilizing them as well.
Resources might fade from your life, and it might seem like you have a hard time holding on to money. Do your best to keep track of where it’s all going, and be careful with anyone who seems to want a lot from you.
This can still be an abundant period though, and you can use your intuition and imagination to manifest what you need, when you need it, on command.
Potential Impact With Neptune in Aries for Pisces:
- Ground yourself spiritually
- Connect to spiritual values
- Try to keep track of money and resources
- Utilize intuition and imagination for manifestation
