It’s Here! Your Tarot Horoscope for October 2025

A hand touches a deck of Tarot cards that is next to a lit lighter. A woman's reflection in a fan-shaped mirror is visible above the hand.

October is a month of mysterious energies, when the veil is lifting as Scorpio season arrives, and our dreams and intuition take on even more influence and meaning thanks to mystical Neptune backing up into Pisces.

But we will still have moments when we want to see forward motion, especially after the fiery Aries Full Moon on the 6th, calling many of us to action. The Tarot can help you figure out what that action will look like for you, and what will be the most meaningful and impactful way forward.

See what guidance the cards have for your zodiac sign, and use the wisdom of the Tarot as a tool to work your way through October.

Aries

Card: The Tower

Something is coming down this month, Aries. The Tower displays a thunderbolt striking a building as it topples, with two figures thrown from a great height, which can seem rather ominous.

Indeed, some aspect of your life is likely being upended or brought crashing down, and it may rattle you, but consider that if something negative comes to an end in your life, then that is actually quite positive.

With your ruler, fiery Mars, spending all of October in your transformational 8th House, this is an especially good time for breaking down old structures which no longer suit your life, so let the chips fall where they may.

Taurus

Card: Queen of Coins

October is a time of practical abundance for you, Taurus

The Queen of Coins represents a nurturing figure who can bring a lot of positivity into your life, perhaps an established female who is practical yet generous, hardworking yet warm and kind. She may inspire you in turn to be more like her, to relish both your productivity and the bounty it can bring into your life, so don’t be shy about taking your lead from this impressive woman.

Your ruler Venus will spend the second half of the month in balanced Libra and your productive 6th House of Daily Work, so you may encounter this queen in a professional setting.

Gemini

Card: 7 of Coins

It takes time for seeds to produce fruit. The 7 of Coins heralds a time when you, like the figure in the card, can lay down your tools and admire all the work you have accomplished.

You may not be in a position to celebrate your achievements or to harvest the fruits of your labor, as they are still developing and require a bit more time before you can enjoy them, but you can finally step back from all the work you have done and take it easy for a little while.

There is no need to continue to push yourself, Gemini, as this is not a time for rushing, so get comfortable easing your foot up on the gas and coasting along in October.

Cancer

Card: 8 of Coins

October is a month of mastery for you, Cancer. The 8 of Coins shows a figure hard at work, but they are not toiling away or suffering through boredom—rather, they are sure of what they are doing, and they are doing it well.

This is your time to do what you do and do it well, and perhaps even show off your competency and abilities, letting others know just how accomplished you are.

This energy can lead to greater financial security and abundance, and with Venus in your foundational 4th House after the 13th, you will feel extra good about the work you do.

Leo

Card: Page of Cups

October is welcoming in some kind of opportunity to refill your cup, Leo.

The Page of Cups represents someone. It could be a new person in your life, or perhaps this person is you yourself, offering up a fresh cup to drink from, which could feel like hitting the emotional refresh button and reminding you of all the positive opportunities and experiences available to you.

There is a sense of newness to be enjoyed here, so you can expect something of a change in the energy around you, but it seems you will be very happy with this new arrival, so give yourself permission to drink deeply from this proffered cup.

Virgo

Card: 10 of Coins

You get to bask in your success this month, Virgo

The 10 of Coins represents a time of prosperity, satisfaction, and contentment, as it displays a group of people frolicking and enjoying life in a luxurious garden setting. Like these people, you are being invited to enjoy the fruits of your labors this month and to celebrate all that you achieve.

However, it is important to note that there are many figures in this card, and thus there is an emphasis on sharing your joy and prosperity with others. It’s not very fun to celebrate all on your own, now a or? Share your good fortune.

Libra

Card: The Magician

You can manifest a better life for yourself this month, Libra. The Magician shows a figure who has mastered the four suits of the Tarot, with a wand, cup, coin, and sword all laid out before them.

Through this mastery, they are able to create something wonderful, something almost magical, that can act like a key to open the door to your future, or perhaps it is a solution to a problem that has been hanging around too long.

It is your time to create something or to do something that will feel like practical magic, so ask yourself, what tricks do you have up your sleeve? You can manage something pretty spectacular if you just try.

Scorpio

Card: 10 of Wands

Don’t give up now, Scorpio!

The 10 of Swords depicts a figure carrying a heavy load, but despite the fact that they’ve been going for some time, and their load is indeed heavy, they aren’t giving up. You may be nearing the end of an important project or phase of your life, perhaps it is something you have been dealing with for a long time, but you are finally getting nearer to the finish line.

And yet, just like the figure in the card, you haven’t reached that finish line, and need to keep going a little while longer. Don’t start flagging; you’re almost there!

Sagittarius

Card: 4 of Cups

You may be missing part of the picture this month, Sag. The 4 of Cups shows a figure who is examining three cups, and doesn’t look very pleased with the available options, but they are so preoccupied that they don’t see a fourth cup (a fourth option) coming their way.

You may be in a situation where you don’t like your options, or you feel disappointed with your current circumstances, but if you just change your perspective you may realize there is another way of handling things that you hadn’t even considered yet.

Don’t drink from only three cups when there are four on offer.

Capricorn

Card: King of Swords

October is a wonderful month to stand in your power, Capricorn

The King of Swords represents a figure of authority, one who has earned the right to wield a sword and sit upon a throne without question. You may find yourself being this impressive figure, showing everyone just how capable you are and that you have indeed established your authority.

There is also a chance you may be dealing with an authority figure, one who could even intimidate you a little bit, but know that they want what is best for you, and aren’t your enemy, but you must come correct and show them what you are capable of—this is no time to slack off.

Aquarius

Card: 8 of Swords

This is not a time for major movements. The 8 of Swords represents a time when you feel like you must either stand still, or you are bound up in a way that you cannot move, even if you wanted to.

The figure in the 8 of Swords wears a blindfold while surrounded by a fence of swords planted in the ground. If this figure budges an inch, they may get cut by any of these swords, and thus must remain frozen for the time being.

It seems, however, that if this person were simply to remove the blindfold, they could more easily extricate themselves from the situation. If you want to make moves in October you must first remove your blindfold and see things clearly, otherwise you may regret your actions, Aquarius!

Pisces

Card: 5 of Swords

You must make a difficult choice this month, Pisces, but even if you would prefer not to, there is no putting this off. The 5 of Swords shows two figures, one clutching several swords, the rest scattered on the ground, while another figure walks away, seemingly in defeat or disgust.

A battle of some kind has occurred, or perhaps a competition, and now it is time to see whether you are the one still holding a few swords, or if you are the one choosing to walk away.

However, you will notice that neither of these figures seem very satisfied with the outcome, so don’t be surprised if whatever choice you make doesn’t leave you entirely happy with the situation.
