2026 is coming, which means we have all new astrology transits and aspects to manage! 2026 continues with the wild ride we’ve been on since 2020, but it appears it will FINALLY come to an end. One more year! Let’s dive in.
THE Most Important Transit: Saturn conjunct Neptune
In 2025, both Saturn and Neptune moved into Aries, however they also both left (September 1st for Saturn, October 22nd for Neptune) and went back to Pisces for one last hurrah. They both come back to Aries in 2026 (January 26th for Neptune, February 13th for Saturn), and will very quickly conjunct (align) on February 20th, 2026.
Saturn conjunct Neptune is always a monster aspect for the world, and likes to trigger major events and shifting paradigms, both tangibly and intangibly.
Saturn is practical, reality, pragmatic, while Neptune is intuition, imagination, and dreamy. They are polar opposites, and they’ve been riding together for the last few years.
Saturn tends to overtake Neptune since Neptune is very fluid and easily manipulated. This means we’ve been more restricted and limited (Saturn) with our Neptunian ways (issues with creativity, less compassion and empathy, difficulties with karma).
These are two highly-karmic planets, and they’ve been touring Pisces, the sign of karma (Neptune is also the naturally ruling planet of Pisces). Pisces is the very last sign, so we’ve been dealing with some major karmic baggage in the last few years (in the world and personally).
They move off into Aries, the very first sign of the zodiac, and they conjunct at 0 degrees Aries, which is the very first degree of the zodiac (there are 360 degrees in the entire zodiac, 30 degrees per sign).
So we’re shoving off from that karmic baggage, the past that has held us back spiritually, emotionally, mentally, even physically. We’re ready to move into the new paradigm, the new way of being, the new way of thinking, the new way of living.
We might be jolted into this new paradigm since this is happening fast. Saturn and Neptune conjunct only 1 week after Saturn enters Aries, and less than 1 month after Neptune does.
The position of 0 degrees Aries is also called the Aries Point, and it’s a sensitive point in the zodiac. It’s all about taking action, bringing the inward out, and making the intangible something you can see and experience in the physical world.
This means we’re motivated to take action to usher in this big shift. We’re a lot less likely to be passive observers in this change, and start taking decisive action.
A Solar Eclipse occurs on February 17 in Aquarius, with Solar Eclipses being times of big new beginnings, and Aquarius being the sign of change and the future. This seems to be teeing up something big for February!
Slow-mover Uranus is also moving into a new sign, Gemini, though a bit later (April 25th), after it also spent some time in Gemini in 2025 (July 7th – November 7th). Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all moving into new signs now join Pluto in a new sign (Aquarius), and we have the slow-movers enacting massive change.
The four are in Fire signs (Aries) and Air signs (Gemini, Aquarius), which is very different from the Water (Pisces) and Earth signs (Taurus, Capricorn) that they’ve been in for some time. Water and Earth are practical and fluid, but not very active and engaged, while Fire and Air signs take the initiative and are super interactive.
We’re embarking on a huge paradigm shift that has been in the making since 2020, when we had the Capricorn stellium (Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto together in Capricorn). The world got flipped upside-down in many ways at that point, and hasn’t really found its solid footing yet.
That is very likely to change in 2026 with Saturn and Neptune colliding, and the two along with Uranus officially entering new signs to stay. There’s been a holding pattern, and that hold is lifted in 2026, and we’re off to the races!
It is likely that we’re all feeling pretty ready for it now. Since it has been years in the making, at the very least subconsciously, we know it’s coming, we’ve been preparing for it, and we’re ready to go.
On a personal level, take one last look at what you’ve been holding on to in your life, but especially in recent years. It’s time to let it go, to move on, to understand, or whatever is needed for you to end this chapter and start a new one.
If you want clues, look to the areas of life ruled by the houses in your natal chart where 0 degrees Aries falls (they’ll be activated by Saturn conjunct Neptune, and you may experience a big purge in some way, along with new responsibilities and direction), and where Uranus and Pluto are touring (so where is the start of Gemini in your chart, since this is where Uranus will be; and where is early Aquarius in your chart, since this is where Pluto will be; these are the areas where you may experience the biggest change that is linked to the purging, responsibilities, and direction of Saturn-Neptune).
The Most Important Transits for 2026 by Month
Now let’s go into the most important transit for each month, along with for the zodiac signs:
January: Aquarius Stellium
The aforementioned Neptune moving into Aries happens on January 26th; at the same time, we will have an Aquarius stellium!
A stellium occurs when 3 or more planets are together in one zodiac sign, and Venus enters Aquarius on January 17, the Sun enters Aquarius on January 19, Mercury enters Aquarius on January 20, and Mars enters Aquarius on January 23. They all join Pluto in Aquarius.
Stelliums are concentrated energy on the sign they occur in, so this is highly focused on Aquarius. This is the sign of change, the future, the unconventional and different, so it fits pretty perfectly that it’s leading into Saturn conjunct Neptune!
It’s getting us ready for the change. The Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars are also fast-moving planets, with Pluto being the only slow-mover, so Pluto gets the bulk of the attention in this stellium.
Pluto rules transformation, so the changes we’re embarking on aren’t superficial AT ALL. These are changes that will last for a long time – maybe even the rest of our lives.
And with the fast planets all in Aquarius, we’re hyper-focused on this. Let’s make some smart choices!

February: Aquarius Solar Eclipse
Outside of Saturn conjunct Neptune, we also have the Aquarius Solar Eclipse on February 17th. This is the first eclipse in Aquarius since 2018; in fact, the February 15th, 2018 Solar Eclipse was really close to the location of this one in 2026, so take a look back at your life in 2018 at what may have been popping off for you to get some ideas with this eclipse.
This eclipse does come with some bigger astrological events though, so whatever comes to pass now is likely to be a lot more important than what may have happened back then. Though, it’s possible that events that occur with this eclipse in 2026 actually tie into events from then.
No matter what, this eclipse is just one extra thing to push you into the new paradigm, so be open to the change and start taking the initiative!
March: Mercury Retrograde in Pisces
Technically, this begins in February on the 26th, but most of its impact will be in March since it lasts until March 20th. Mercury retrograde is pretty karmic, and this is especially true in Pisces, so this might be one last hurrah for any karmic releases, and intuitive energy can be incredibly strong (pay attention to dreams and get enlightened).
There is a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 3rd, which is going to stir this even more since Lunar Eclipses are spiritual and emotional. It’s in wide opposition to Mercury retrograde, so we do have to be mindful of our words and smarter with our plans.
The end of this retrograde has Mercury conjunct the North Node, which is a spiritual, karmic point. The North Node is all about our potential, what’s possible, so it’s yet another thing pointing to the out-with-the-old, in-with-the-new energy.

April: Anaretic Uranus in Taurus
Before Uranus enters Gemini on April 25th, it’ll be anaretic in Taurus from April 5th – 25th. This means Uranus is at the very last degree of Taurus, and this means we’re focused on action and making things happen even more.
We may go about this quickly, unexpectedly, or unconventionally with Uranus, and this can shake up the status quo, our sense of security, and our resources with Taurus.
These changes help set the stage, or make things easier, or catapult us further.
May: Pluto Retrograde Begins
Admittedly, May gets kind of quiet!
Pluto turns retrograde on May 6th, ending all planets moving forward, but Pluto retrograde is a welcome retrograde since it slows down the massive transformations, and we might need that at this point, with how packed with change the first 4 months of 2026 are.
There is a Scorpio Full Moon on May 1st, and this is the sign Pluto rules, so keep in mind we might be extra emotional at the start of May. These emotions can become intense at times, but we can strive to get some control over them and put them to good use.
June: Jupiter & Chiron Change Signs
Jupiter enters Leo to end the month on June 30th, while Chiron enters Taurus on June 19th.
Jupiter is the lucky planet ruling expansion, optimism, and opportunity, while Leo is the sign of love, creativity, and play. Jupiter in Leo is bound to bring in some of the fun that might be missing with all of the changes earlier in the year, and we can feel more connected to our hearts and loved ones, and inspired creatively for the next year.
Meanwhile Chiron rules our wounds and healing abilities, and begins to tour Taurus. Coming after Uranus has fully exited Taurus, Chiron offers a chance to fully analyze the issues (the “wounds”) that came about over the last decade.
Once we see and understand them better, we can work to resolve them. This can lead to a renewed sense of safety and security with Taurus, and we can focus on improving stability and being more mindful of resources.
Jupiter and Chiron will square right away, by the way (July 1st), and squares are challenging aspects, so there might be something that has been blocked due to laziness, arrogance, or ignorance that has to be worked on very fast in the second half of June.

July: Mercury Retrograde in Cancer
This begins June 29th, so technically it’s going from June to July, and lasts until July 23rd. It starts right as Jupiter is exiting Cancer, so the end of June/beginning of July might come with some important developments on the home front.
Cancer is the sign of emotions, so Mercury retrograde in this sign means we may be extra sensitive, easily triggered emotionally, or old emotional issues can get dug back up. We have to get to the core of it, and how we approach it might need to be different.
During this time, Mars will conjunct Uranus on July 4th in Gemini, and this is more energy for change, so the emotions that are stirred might be as a result of some sudden, unexpected development. Be flexible with Gemini.
August: Eclipse Season
A Solar Eclipse occurs in Leo on August 12th, and this is the first eclipse in Leo since 2019. There was a Solar Eclipse in Leo on August 11th, 2018 that is aligned with this one, so the 2018 Solar Eclipses are being triggered in 2026.
It comes with Jupiter now in Leo, so this is excellent for pursuing opportunities, especially creatively. It also comes with Mercury freshly in Leo after a long stint in Cancer, so this period might be turning the page on something that was temporarily stalled out.
Then there’s a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces on August 28th, and this is the final Lunar Eclipse for Pisces, which has 3 (first in 2024, then in 2025, and final in 2026). This can be another juncture in 2026 for clearing something big out, releasing, understanding, and resolving karmic energy.
September: Chiron Back to Aries
Chiron turns retrograde on August 3rd in Taurus, and goes back to Aries on September 18th. This gives one more shot to work on healing identity wounds, issues around independence, or blocks to taking the initiative that might be holding us back from embracing all of the big changes.
Chiron is anaretic in Aries September 18th – October 12th, and that can be a period where we’re much more motivated to work on those issues. But we have to avoid being impatient and impulsive about it; otherwise, we might create more problems.
October: Venus & Mercury Retrogrades
Venus retrograde begins on October 3rd in Scorpio, and this can dig up some deeply-held issues in relationships, partnerships, commitments, and alliances. We have to do a better job at being more understanding and practical, because we’ll likely have difficulty not being obsessed with our way of seeing things, and getting grounded.
Mercury retrograde begins on October 24th, also in Scorpio, and the old issues can really fester and explode. Anything we’ve been holding inside for too long can make us blow up quickly, and we have to try and loosen up.
On October 25th just 1 day later, Venus retrogrades back to Libra, one of the signs Venus naturally rules. Relationships, alliances, and commitments might fracture at this point, and it can take some time to repair.
This likely isn’t something that comes out of nowhere though. It’s something that has been building for some time, so avoid this by dealing with it sooner rather than later.
This might be a bad time for world alliances and economies! But it can be a good time for love reconnections.
November: Mercury & Venus Direct
On November 13th, both Mercury and Venus end their retrogrades. Talk about feeling WAY off!
It might feel like everything slows to a crawl mid-month, and we have a hard time figuring out what to do about it or getting the opportunity to take action for it. Things can reverse quickly, and the way it was going can shift fast.
We need to be flexible and quickly adapt so we don’t get further stuck. Focus on solutions with Mercury in Scorpio, and be willing to compromise with Venus in Libra.
December: Saturn & Neptune Direct + Jupiter Retrograde
Saturn ends its retrograde on December 10th, and then just two days later, on December 12th, Neptune ends its retrograde, and Jupiter starts its retrograde period.
This is similar to the feeling in November, where we’ve got a stalling out, shifting of direction, and bit of a stop-start way of being. There will be lots of flexibility needed in the last two months of 2026!
This trio is also suuuper karmic, so we might become aware of karmic connections or plans that are having an impact on this new paradigm shift in our lives. Saturn and Neptune retrograde ending allow us to get a better handle on it, while Jupiter retrograde starting provides some clarity.
The Most Important Transits of 2026 for the Zodiac Signs
Aries: Saturn & Neptune in Aries
Saturn and Neptune began to dance in your sign in 2025, but officially both enter your sign in 2026, and their conjunction is in your sign as well. This is super focused on you, Aries!
Everyone is a part of the paradigm shift, but you might be at the front lines, taking the reins, and calling the shots. Your sign is comfortable with taking the initiative and taking the lead, so this can be natural for you to lean in to.
The big new beginning is yours for the taking. Channel your energy and excitement and go for it!
Taurus: Chiron in Taurus
Chiron begins to tour your sign in 2026 (from June 19th to September 18th) and fully enters your sign in 2027, so this is a preview. Chiron in your sign is a time to focus on your wounds, your old issues, the baggage you carry with you, and what is holding you back.
This is so you can work to heal and grow as a person, to understand yourself better, and to give yourself the space to fully develop your potential. It can be scary at first, but ends up becoming very empowering.
Chiron in your sign can also give you the chance to develop stronger intuition, get a better sense of your spiritual path, and become more compassionate and helpful.
Gemini: Uranus Officially Enters Gemini
You got a preview of this transit in 2025 when Uranus was in your sign from July 7th – November 7th. With Uranus being the planet of change, it might have already kicked off some big changes in your life and set the stage for more to come over the next decade.
Embrace what’s different, your uniqueness, your quirks, and how you stand out. Be willing to step outside of your comfort zone, to challenge yourself, and to connect with new people in new places.
Doing this can make you more impressive, give you more control over the changes (so you’re not a victim of them), and make you an icon.
Cancer: Mercury Retrograde in Cancer
Mercury retrogrades in your sign from June 29th – July 23rd, and this comes on the heels of Jupiter leaving your sign on June 30th. The first half of the year with Jupiter in your sign can continue to open up your life and mind, bring you opportunities to expand, and brighten your outlook, so this is positive heading into the retrograde.
The Mercury retrograde might focus on the things you’ve been ignoring over the previous year, and dredges them up and shines a shiny bright light on them. You might have to move through discomfort to address them, but once you do, it can be resolved quickly.
This retrograde will be excellent for taking a second chance with something, which might be something you either didn’t get a chance to in the previous year, or it might be something you attempted in the previous year and want to try again.
Leo: Jupiter Enters Leo
Jupiter enters your sign on June 30th, 2026, and this kicks off one year of lucky Jupiter energy! This occurs every 12 years or so, and is a fantastic period for opportunities, luck, expansion, and exploration.
The year when Jupiter tours your sign is considered one of the most beneficial periods in astrology, so this is a period you want to take full advantage of while you have the chance. Don’t hold yourself back, especially with all of this new paradigm energy calling you to step into the spotlight.
The Leo Solar Eclipse on August 12th might trigger a big opportunity presented to you, or you might embark on your biggest venture yet at this point. Be creative and let yourself shine.
Virgo: Lunar Eclipse in Virgo
The March 3rd Lunar Eclipse is in your sign, Virgo, and this is traditionally a time for big endings and culminations. That’s extra true here since it’s the last eclipse in your sign for some years, so it’s sweeping out something big or putting a bow on something you’ve been working to finish for a while.
You might be a little stressed by the development, but ultimately, you can be ready for this to be done. It can lead to a new door opening for you, or at least gives you the time and space to bring something new into your life.
Mercury, your ruler, is retrograde for this eclipse, so you may have to take a different approach than usual. Cut yourself some slack as well.
Libra: Venus Retrograde in Libra
Venus, your ruler, retrogrades starting on October 3rd, and this is usually difficult enough as you feel thrown off and not quite like yourself. But then Venus retrogrades back to your sign on October 25th for the rest of the retrograde (until November 13th), and that may REALLY throw you!
It might seem like lots of little things get thrown on your plate, you have no time to relax or recover, and everyone is working against you. Getting help can be a challenge, and chaotic people can seem attracted to you.
Go easy on yourself, and don’t give in to the chaotic people. Prioritize peace, harmony, and calm, and keep yourself balanced. If you get out of balance, you can have great difficulty doing anything, so maintain balance as best as you can.
This will be an incredible period for a second chance, especially to reconnect with someone from the past, or recommit to a project, plan, or idea.
Scorpio: Mercury & Venus Retrogrades in Scorpio
Venus retrogrades in your sign October 3rd – 25th, and this can make you impatient yet stubborn, and the people in your life can get on your last nerve. Then Mercury retrogrades in your sign entirely from October 24th – November 13th, and it can seem a little like if it can go wrong, it does.
This period is one where you have to avoid asking too much of yourself. You’ll only be capable of so much, and being too demanding on yourself only increases frustration and aggravation.
Work on a second chance, pick something back up, or reconnect with someone since this energy is excellent for reconnecting and recommitting.
Sagittarius: Sagittarius New Moon
2026 is a quieter year for your sign where you’re not getting the direct hit by anything, and you might be focusing more on expanding your life and connecting with others.
The Sagittarius New Moon on December 8th can focus on you, new beginnings and ventures, and comes with high energy and excitement. This can be your time in 2026 to embark on new pursuits and get excited about what you’re doing.
Your ruler, Jupiter, turns retrograde a few days later on November 12th, so you might feel like you need to change direction or listen more to your intuition.
Capricorn: Capricorn New Moon
Your sign was the one to kick off this paradigm shift back in 2020, and you got the bulk of the Pluto focus for over 15 years as Pluto toured your sign. This is done now, and you have probably already been on the new paradigm shift since it started for you a while ago.
The Capricorn New Moon on January 18th comes just before Saturn and Neptune do their thing, so once again, you can be ahead of the game. Focus on new ventures, new pursuits that excite you, and work on taking full advantage of any opportunities you have.
Aquarius: Aquarius Stellium + Solar Eclipse
The Aquarius stellium (which is January 19th – February 10th) highlights your sign, Aquarius, and you can focus on what you connect with personally (the Sun), come up with plans, ideas, and use your knowledge (Mercury), get help (Venus), utilize energy and take initiative (Mars), and powerfully transform (Pluto).
The Aquarius Solar Eclipse on February 17th jumpstarts a big new beginning, something that can be a focus for the next few years, and you can be thrilled by it. This reinvigorates you, and you can be ready to make it happen!
Your ruler, Uranus, ends its retrograde in the middle of this on February 3rd, and this allows you to get focused, gain clarity, and take control. You can use your skills and talents and make the most of your abilities and resources.
Pisces: Lunar Eclipse in Pisces + Saturn & Neptune in Pisces
It’s been a tough few years for you, Pisces, and this is going to wrap up in 2026, however not before one last push.
Neptune is in your sign until January 26th, and with Neptune being your ruler, this hasn’t been so bad. But it’s likely made you extra Pisces-like, and some of the flowing energy became difficult to control.
Saturn is in your sign until February 13th, and Saturn exiting your sign can bring welcome relief. You’ve had major lessons to learn, responsibilities to shoulder, and a life plan to create, and anything you have left to work on, you might be doing that in the first 1-2 months of 2026 with Neptune and Saturn.
The Pisces Lunar Eclipse on August 28th is the last piece, and you’ve already had TWO Lunar Eclipses in your sign in the last two years. This has likely dug up lots of emotions for you, and you had to deal with past baggage and work through challenges.
By the time of the Lunar Eclipse, you can feel you’re in a much better place with Saturn and Neptune no longer in your sign, so you can handle this eclipse better than you may have over the last few years. You can be ready for this to come to an end.
Have a Great New Year!
